“Well organized and well attended by both employers and job seekers!”
“Appreciate the self-guided format for the students! If using the same format in the future, either bring more students or have less time for the students, an hour is enough. Appreciate the variety of careers and the time to connect between vendors. Glad water, snacks, and lunch were included. Outdoors worked out this time but was cold. We like that the fair was at a farm. Consider a farm that has a large barn or indoor space, in case the weather isn't ideal. More vendor tables would be good - is more lead time needed to secure more vendor tables? or more connections? or more ideas? A CASE/CTA/FFA rep would have been good, sorry they didn't show. Have a University of MD Extension representative attend. About half of the students we talked to were not interested in Ag careers, maybe they were just there for the trip. Increasing general awareness about agriculture is an acceptable outcome. ”
“This event was very well attended and attendees were well prepared!”
“Great, a lot of attendees and exhibitors”
“The job fair was very well organized. There were plenty of employers ready to offer feedback and on the spot interviews. It was a success!”
“The turn out was very good, but I felt it was a little to tight with the businesses and then when the public came in to attend.”
“It might have been a bit long, or maybe consider doing it in the afternoon. Maybe just cut it down by 1 hour, or so. Otherwise, great event. Thanks.”
“As usual, the event was outstanding. It was hour after hour of highly qualified candidates. The venue worked well and the staff was tentative to our needs. Lunch was fantastic. Thank you Tri-County Council.”
“ Due to the amount of jobseekers and businesses, it did get loud and was hard to hear when speaking to attendees and when announcements were made, but in the end it was a well organized and successful event! Great job!”
“Very good.”
“Awesome job fair!”
