Each year we sponsor PhD scientists who are researching Dementia and Parkinson's disease. I promised my late mum to fundraise for a cure to answer her question - 'Why am I like this?'. This insidious disease ruined her life by taking away her abilities, independence, memories and so much more. We want answers and we hope by supporting PhD students with their studies that one day - within a conversation or sharing of research - the spark to the cure will be found. We remain in hope.
