Donovan Williams, alias TheGiver, is a Christian, multi-genre-synthesizing composer/violinist/producer from Goochland, Virginia. As a composer, through TheGiver project, Donovan aims to synthesize influences from bass-heavy music and Sacred works to create a "sound that resonates with all" in an attempt to "reflect aspects of God's power and love" to audiences across the world. This musical genre is known as Sacred Bass, which Donovan pioneered by the Lord's Will.God has also allowed Donovan to traiblaze the "DonoRave" Campaign, featuring an interactive, showcase-style platform where artists can share their testimony and gifts from the Lord to the public while interwoven in the undercurrent of Sacred Bass and Sacred music.As a violinist, Donovan has travelled up and down the US East Coast, London, and Wales to perform his original compositions in the Llangollen Eisteddfod, the American Protege Competition, the Charleston Int'l Competition, as well as Carnegie Hall, St. David's Cathedral, the Queen Mary 2's Royal Court Theater, the Altria Theater, Chicago’s Willis Tower SkyDeck, and the Llangollen Eisteddfod Royal Pavilion.Donovan believes in the Divine, community-building power of music that "speaks where words cannot," and strives to travel the world performing music with talent from all cultures and all generations, reflecting Kingdom power through Kingdom diversity in all facets to unify audiences with the Holy Spirit through sound.
