The Virginia Refugee Healing Partnership (VRHP) is a collaborative effort of the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services Office of Behavioral Health Wellness and the Virginia Department of Social Services Office of New Americans Refugee Services. Its mission is to provide holistic care to refugees who see Virginia as a place of hope and refuge, and its vision looks into a future where refugees thrive and their needs are addressed and met through culturally and linguistically appropriate services. To realize the mission and vision, the VRHP provides coordination, education, and support to refugee resettlement agencies, local mental health coalitions, refugee communities, and stakeholders across the Commonwealth.
