Originally founded as a natural wine blog, The Vinguard became a 501ce non-profit organization in 2020 as we felt there was a critical need to address the inequities, discrimination, and lack opportunity for women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA and other historically marginalized groups in the wine industry. `Mission Statement: The Vinguard amplifies underrepresented voices in the wine industry by building equity through education, access, and community empowerment, while championing regenerative farming practices and ecological stewardship.Vision Statement: To transform the wine landscape into a transparent, inclusive, and regenerative ecosystem that honors the labor and land behind every bottle."
