Follow The Temecula StampedeI’d like to start out by saying that I am very grateful to have a great place to dance. I have been dancing at the Stampede for 25 + years. I dance 2-3 nights a week. I purchase drinks, food and tip my bartenders well. I spend my hard earned money every weekend. There have been some great renovations and changes to the club. The staff is friendly. Steve has done a great job with security. The security staff is vigilant and professional. I would like to address a few issues In order to help make next years New Year’s Eve Bash a success. 1. When I arrived I was shown to my table. I was surprised to see that the high top tables behind me were available on a first come first serve basis. I paid $300.00 for a much smaller table and with no other perks. I could have just paid $25.00 for general admission and sat at a free table. 2. I was also surprised to find out that our VIP table/ticket did not include a meal or appetizers. Most of us were led to believe that Emile was included based on the vague wording

I normally go to the German American Society Oktoberfest in El Cajon, as it is so authentic. I usually skip the street fair types. For Stampede's first Oktoberfest, I have to say that they are definitely on the right track! The band was as authentic as they come, fully German, complete with Lederhosen polkas, and the Chicken Dances! Loved them! The sausages were extremely good (we had the smoked bratwurst) though a touch on the pricey side, but what isn't these days. The special beer tap selections were truly excellent, and the special mugs and the wait staff's outfits were fun! The only recommendations I can make is to try to include authentic European desserts, like Lebkuchen, Black Forest Cake, Eclairs, Strudel, etc., and to NOT run out of the sausages at 5:00p.m. on Sunday (according to my friend who attended Sunday after I raved about the place on Saturday!). Red cabbage and German potato salad would have been welcome sides, too. I can't wait until next year!
