The Society has been created to fill a need for a professional body to represent those professionals who run, manage and work for membership organisations of all kinds including Trade Associations, Professional bodies , Trade Unions and Charities. We are also driven by the importance of the membership model in a wide range of for profit as well as not for profit sectors and seek to recognise the unique skill sets required by membership professionals in todays rapidly changing world. The Society will offer its members a number of benefits including the use of post nominal letters, networking opportunities both physical and virtual. In addition we are seeking to offer career support for all those seeking a career in membership management. This will include mentoring opportunities utilising the huge amount of combined experience and knowledge held by our senior members and Fellows.
