Follow The Sarasota Balloon Glow & Laser ShowNo one checked our prepaid tickets at the gate. Basically we could have walked in without tickets. Poorly managed, no signage to direct what was going on. Just LOTS of food booths! One Remax balloon set up. It was apparent from:6:30 on there was to be no more balloons to see. Lots of people leaving at that point. We handed our unchecked tickets to a couple as they were walking in. No need for them to waste their $40+ to get in for overpriced food. At 8:38pm I received a test message that the balloons would not go up because of the wind. (totally acceptable) But everyone knew from the beginning there would be no balloons because they were not even laid out on the ground ready to be inflated. And where was the entertainment/music? Something garbled over a loudspeaker only audible in a certain section of the ground. I hope they do not come back to Sarasota again. What a waste..Overall the event was highly advertised and poorly managed
