The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center is a safe, supportive, and engaging after-school and summer program for youth ages 7–18. It provides a welcoming space where young people can receive homework help, develop life skills, build friendships, and enjoy positive fellowship. Programs include recreational activities, enrichment classes such as Taekwondo, art, cooking, leadership development, and music, and special events that foster personal growth and teamwork.For children facing homelessness staying at the Center of Hope the Youth Center offers scholarships to ensure they can participate fully. Every child receives a hot meal, consistent care, and the encouragement they need to thrive. Whether during the school year or in summer, the Red Shield Youth Center is dedicated to helping youth grow into confident, productive young citizens.
