Follow The Korean American Association of ChicagoThe Korean American Association of Chicago (KAAC) was first founded in 1962 with the primary goal of ensuring the welfare of Korean Americans, and the Korean American community in Chicagoland. While the association promotes unity within the community, it introduces and increases awareness of Korean culture to other ethnic groups within the U.S. The association serves as the information center to the Korean American community, providing necessary counsel, regarding U.S. culture, economy, education system, social services, and politics. The association provides a bridge for the Korean American community and mainstream U.S. society and businesses, promotes the City of Chicago to Korea, and contributes to increase public relations between the U.S. and Korea.
