Chef Jacob Hilbert The Inn on The Creek of Salado is excited to announce that nationally recognized Chef Jacob Hilbert will be bringing his talents to our Manor kitchen. Long been considered one of the most exciting and pioneering chefs in Texas and the southeast, he will be bringing his particular brand of culinary expression to our newest project dubbed The Hunter Gatherer. It will be in this kitchen that he will curate experiences unique not just to Salado, but to Texas. His knowledge of and ability to express the land in his cooking will be on full display through myriad events that will include reservation only dinners, cooking classes, private events, and very special and thoughtful intimate evenings using the full scope of the beautiful Inn on The Creek property. Chef Hilbert will also oversee the breakfast duties for guests of the Inn every morning showing a more familiar yet elegant side of his cooking. He is excited to present pastries and soulful takes on classic breakfast dishes set inside the stunning new dining room nestled within the manor. In his new role as Chef and Innkeeper, he will provide bites for our weekend meet & greet available to all the guests of the inn.
