The Hub Family Resource Centre is a non-profit charitable organization, offering free programming and resources to families within the RMWB. Since The Hub opened its doors in 2003, the mission has been to strengthen capacities and encourage the best possible development of families within the region. Most services offered at The Hub are targeted toward children newborn to six years old and their families. The Hub also offers Safe Visitation and Exchange, which provides children of shared custody arrangements with the opportunity to spend time with each parent and/or caregiver individually in a safe, comfortable, and supervised setting. From April 1 2014 to March 31 2015, The Hub served 5600 people.
