The Comedy Underground is the associate behind the Comedy Underground Night Time Show in Amsterdam. The team consists of Diederik Zuurmond, Georges Degoumois and Katie O'Reilly.The show is hosted by rising stand up star Diederik Zuurmond (@diedzz), whose name has echoed through Europe's comedy scene which has rewarded him for his dark, silly and pun-heavy humour. In 2023, Diederik won both the Jury and Audience Prize at the Utrecht Comedy Festival. The same year, he started performing his hour "Manchild" across the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK. Most recently, he has accomplished a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, marking his first step onto the international stage.Katie O'reilly is an improviser and comedian from Chicago. During her short tenure in Amsterdam, Katie has worked as an organiser for accomplished comedy shows such as the Cunnilingus show at Boom Chicago or the Alt Night at Mezrab. She could also regularly be seen performing as a stand up or as part of her former improv team, Bird State Comedy. Katie is a cannonball of energy and a master at acting out her goofiness.George Degoumois (@georges.degoumois) is a confused man from Switzerland and has been a regular of the Amsterdam comedy scene since 2022. In 2024, he travelled through Europe and Asia for 4 months as an opening act for Victor Patrascan, where he managed to dazzle audiences with his unique style and dry delivery.
