The Clifton House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization based in Baltimore, MD. The Clifton House celebrates the legacy of poetry, art, advocacy, and community that began with poet Lucille Clifton and her husband, activist Fred Clifton. From the sanctuary of the Clifton's historic family home, The Clifton House is proud to offer free and low-cost community workshops, conversations, public programs, and opportunities for creative development to underrepresented and underserved people of all ages in the Baltimore and surrounding communities.
