Hi, I’m Lexie Carroll, a Bay Area native and long-time chocolate enthusiast. I'm a taster and reviewer of fine craft chocolate. I got my introduction to fine chocolate working at the now-retired Monique’s Chocolates in Palo Alto in 2010. There I learned about single-origin chocolates and helped customers find a new and delightful taste experience. Since then I’ve been continuing to dabble in the world of craft bean-to-bar chocolate, attending festivals, meeting makers, and honing my palate. I’ve tasted hundreds of bars and began documenting this project on my Instagram account in 2022 (@TheChocolateTourGuide). I review bars and local chocolate shops, helping you to find something you like. I love leading educational workshops and tastings, and spreading the love of fine craft chocolate wherever I go!
