Reaching children who are too ill to attend schoolThe Children’s Hospital School supports hundreds of children/young people and their families each year through unhappy and traumatic times. We teach children from Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who are too ill to attend mainstream schools. We operate in:hospitals, providing lessons at bedsides or in side rooms;children’s own homes;a specially equipped day school.Our pupils are aged 3 to 18, and have a range of physical and mental health needs.We want to make sure they don’t lose out because they are unable to attend their normal school.
