The Anzac Memorial is NSW’s principal war memorial and, along with the Martin Place Cenotaph, lies at the heart of our community’s commitment to remember the sacrifices of the past. It was built and funded by the people of New South Wales, to honour those who served their country in the Great War and be a place of comfort for those who had lost loved ones. In 1984 the Memorial was rededicated to all Australians who have served in the Defence Force.Proudly funded by the NSW Government
