Our mission at The Andrew C. DeMarco Foundation is to raise awareness, fund research and support those affected by angiosarcoma in honor of Andrew and his brave fight against cardiac angiosarcoma. Our vision is to save lives and lead the fight to cure angiosarcoma. We dream of the day that if someone is diagnosed with angiosarcoma they have an abundance of options for a cure, not a devasting prognosis. Currently, angiosarcoma has a poor prognosis with a five-year survival rate of ~30%.
