Sutherland Shire Folk Dance Group has been dancing and teaching Folk dances in the Shire since 1975. The group performed in public for the first time at the opening of Sutherland Entertainment Centre in 1986. Over the years, the Group have also been the subject of a university study and two ABC TV reports on the health benefits of dancing.
