Our wine immersion program will engage, enlighten, and entertain you. We call it a 'Virtual Vacation'! Participants will learn how to taste, evaluate, and appreciate wines with extensive coverage of the most famous wine regions, including local culture, cuisine, art, and music. Eight two-hour classes will demystify the often-complex world of wine by spanning diverse grape varieties and wine styles in a relaxed and unforced classroom setting: Jan 29 Understanding Wine – a preparatory session designed to convey core principles of wine tasting, wine farming and winemaking Feb 5 Okanagan Wine Country – a deep dive to reveal why Canada's best wines are grown in our backyard Feb 12 Tour de France – France is the holy grail of wine Feb 19 From the Boot – The world loves Italian wines Mar 5 Spanish Lessons - Classic wines, modern image Mar 12 Down Under – The wines of New Zealand and Australia Mar 19 California Dreaming – World's fourth-largest wine producer Mar 26 Way Out West – Exploring Oregon and Washington wine country Sundays from 2 pm to 4 pm.
