In addition to providing individualized help to our patrons with genealogical research, we also offer several workshops on genealogy topics both at our facility and out in the community. We have a partnership with FamilySearch, the world’s largest repository of genealogical records where patrons can research and find information in our library that pertains to and aids in their genealogy research. Our patrons have access to Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest.com, free of charge; and a computer work station to conduct on-line research.To make the information accessible on-line,we will be working with FamilySearch on a book scanning project to scan information in our library on localhistories of families, businesses, churches, and schools.
