Jazz on the Vineyard was founded in 2010 by Kenneth Alleyne MD and who loves jazz and Martha's Vineyard. He founded Student Achievement through Opportunity (SATO), a nonprofit organization aimed at narrowing the “opportunity gap” for students in Dr. Alleyne’s hometown of Hartford, Conn. JOTV events provide audience members with an intimate music experience while simultaneously supporting underprivileged youth.SATO is independently incorporated and based in Hartford Connecticut. Funds raised through Jazz on the Vineyard events are a critical part of implementing our programmatic agenda and annual operating budget. Your contribution helps broaden access to opportunities for our youth while building a collective of dedicated and committed individuals.
