“Fantastic event. I would only recommend providing a link with the tickets to the Lyrics of the three national anthems so everyone can sing along if they so desire. we all knew the US anthem, few new the British, and even fewer knew the Scottish.”
“Love the bagpipe & drum band: that is the main attraction. The live music band playing dance music was engaged & engaging; I hope they return. Wonderful variety in the items for silent auction. Nice alcoholic options; especially the Harris gin. I’ve been to several Tartan Balls in DC over the years and the National Press Club venue is fine, but I’d prefer a nice hotel like The Mayflower or The Ritz, which are previous venues. The filet mignon was only ok. A wonderful night. ”
