Spirit Awakening Foundationis a nonprofit arts-based organization dedicated to helping youth realize their spiritual identity throughmeditation, creative writing, improvisation, visual arts, mentorship, leadership retreats, and service trips. Since 1995, SAFhas served over 2,000 incarcerated and underserved youth throughout L.A. County's various juvenile facilities and schools. SAF’s mission is to build character and raise self-esteem, one child at a time by facilitating Spiritual transformation and positive social change through written and spoken word.
