Since Spartanburg Regional Heart Center opened in 1988, cardiologists, electrophysiologists, surgeons and nurses have provided a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular care delivered in an environment specifically designed for heart patients. The Heart Center provides comprehensive cardiac care, including structural heart conditions. Through prevention, treatment and rehabilitation, the Heart Center helps cardiac patients achieve a better quality of life while controlling the negative effects of heart disease. The Heart Center includes the Joe R. Utley Heart Resource Center, which offers education on heart disease prevention and management.
