Solva is one of the most beautiful villages in the UK, situated in the far South West of Wales and on the edge of the Irish Sea. The village boasts a harbour that used to send ships to the USA and sits above the cliffs of the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path. Every summer a group of volunteers who live in the village and nearby put on the magical Edge Festival. The Solva Edge Festival 2020, held on July 24th, 25th and 26th 2020, presents a weekend of arts, music, literature, sport , outdoor activities, food, drink and much more. Organised by residents of Solva on the Pembrokeshire coast with all proceeds going to local charitable causes, it is attended by visitors, festival goers and residents of all ages Festival developed as a direct response to the filming of Under Milkwood in Solva in the Summer of 2014, the magic and enthusiasm it generated in the village was electric and we sought to recapture this. The Edge is a celebration of the Arts, Music, Literature, Film, Food and Sport and over 4 days in 2015 we had a jam packed program of events covering all of these aspects. The festival celebrated its 5th year in 2019 and Edge 2020 is well under way in the planning
