The Silva Ataxia Foundation was created in loving memory of Veronica and Mark Silva to aid in furthering the research leading to treatment and a cure for Machado-Joseph disease. In partnership with Dr. Vikram Khurana and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, it is our hope to broaden awareness of this debilitating disease and that with your help we can raise significant funds to find the cure for this horrible disease.
