Setebaid Services, Inc. provides two camps for children ages 7-18 with Type 1 Diabetes - Camp Setebaid and the Harrisburg Diabetic Youth Camp. Camp provides a non-clinical setting where children interact with healthcare professionals while learning how to manage their diabetes. This empowers independence, builds new friendships that last a lifetime, teaches children diabetes is not a restrictive lifestyle, and helps them understand they are not alone in the battle to manage their diabetes.
