The organization adopts the "Housing First" model, prioritizing immediate access to permanent housing without preconditions, and then providing supportive services to help individuals achieve long-term stability.The organization serves a diverse clientele, including veterans, families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Support is provided through various programs, including:Mercy Village InitiativeA significant project undertaken by Saving Mercy is the development of Mercy Village, a 79-unit housing complex aimed at providing permanent supportive housing for the homeless population. Located at 3601 W Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala, the project includes 59 apartment units and 10 duplex-style residences. Construction began in December 2024, with completion expected by the end of 2025. The initiative is a collaboration with Carrfour Supportive Housing and is designed to offer long-term housing solutions combined with integrated support services.Saving Mercy Corporation stands as a beacon of hope in the Ocala community, working tirelessly to break the cycle of homelessness and empower individuals and families towards a stable and fulfilling future.
