Sara O’Connor is a Richmond, Virginia–based artist, teacher, and creative entrepreneur behind Sara O’Connor Fine Art. Known for her bold use of color and texture, Sara modernizes classical pointillism through highly tactile, want-to-touch surfaces. Her work reflects moments of self-reflection and emotional honesty, resulting in original pieces that are both bold and inviting.With over a decade of experience running her art business, Sara teaches hands-on art classes that encourage participants to relax, explore, and discover their own creativity. She is passionate about making the artistic process approachable and fun for students of all experience levels.In addition to teaching, Sara creates original works for gallery exhibitions and private collections, and she welcomes custom commissions that allow clients to bring meaningful, one-of-a-kind art into their spaces.
