Born and raised in Godfrey, Illinois, Sam was inspired to become an artist at the ripe age of 17 when he saw Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. He discovered his passion for musical theater at Marquette Catholic High School where he graduated in 2007. He went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Video Production from Webster University in St. Louis, MO in 2011, and a Certificate in Art Fundamentals from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario in 2012. Sam now works as a freelance illustrator and animation producer in North Hollywood.
