I made a special trip to Rockford to see two artist friends of mine that I thought would be at the show. Neither one was there, but at a more lucrative market. The “artists” who were there were lovely people. The quality of artwork was disappointing to me, since I normally attend juried art shows. I was a high school art teacher and much of the artwork was “high school art”. Not all of it was this quality, but much of it was. I will not bother to attend this show again since I found nothing to purchase or be inspired by.
