Carmack is an active producer of Jazz themed shows, concerts and original plays, Most of his latests productions intergrates intense jazz compositions with spoken word performance and dramatic interpretation.Mr. Carmack has produced shows with some of Jazz's stellar musicians such as, Taj Mahal,Benny Golson,Azar Lawrence, Juini Booth, McCoy Tyner, Doug Carn, Sonny Fortune, Freddie Hubbard, Freddy Cole, Vanessa Rubin and Hilton Ruiz to name a few.His poetry is heavily influenced by wordsmith stalwarts like, the Last Poets, Watts Prophets, Amiri Baraka, Sun Ra and Jayne Cortez.
