Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council

The Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council, formerly the Family Violence Coordinating Council is a standing committee of the Council of Community Services. The RVVPC is an interagency coalition of professionals that include human service agencies, attorneys, legal aid, police officers, and health care providers. The members work together to increase the resources available to deal with family violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking The RVVPC’s mission is to engage professionals in a collaborative and comprehensive response to family violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking and to empower our community by raising awareness of these issues and the resources available.
