Using specific sound frequencies, the body is stimulated to use its natural ability to heal and improve physical and mental well-being. Also referred to as "Sound Journeys" or "Sound Bathing," this ancient technique has recently gained in popularity as more people are seeking natural and holistic approaches to healing.Sound Healing has been shown to reduce tension, anger, fatigue, stress and anxiety, depression and mood disorders, insomnia and sleep disorders, digestive issues, chronic fatigue, and emotional trauma. It has even been shown to help relieve pain from arthritis, menstruation, postoperative procedures, and joint replacement. It can reduce muscle pain and stiffness, inflammation, mobility issues, lower blood pressure, and increase blood circulation.*Please bring a yoga mat or blanket along with a small hand towel or neck roll to support the head. This is a meditative experience and open to all ages understanding that ALL participants must be respectful of other attendees. If you must leave during the session, please be quiet and respectful.**Consult a doctor before having a Sound Healing session if you have a pacemaker or certain heart conditions, are in the 1st or 3rd trimester of pregnancy, have metal plates in the body, or have mental health issues. Other contraindications include hearing impairment or deafness, and sound sensitivities.
