River Pretty Arts Foundation is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future federal law. River Pretty Arts Foundation is dedicated to supporting the educational and cultural development of emerging artists by:Conducting arts-related workshops and/or residencies,providing lectures on theory and/or craft elements of the writing (or other) arts,providing opportunities to share and critique creative work, andgranting access to professional artists and/or teachers and/or publishers who are established in their respective fields,River Pretty Arts Foundation also helps artists by awarding residencies to the semi-annual River Pretty Writers Retreat based on financial need and/or artistic merit and publishing a multi-genre print and/or digital journal of creative work.
