Richmond CERT offers a free CERT Basic Training Course in the Spring and Fall each year, that consists of a combination of classroom and hands-on learning. Participants will train alongside other Richmond citizens also with participants from other communities. Classes are taught by the staff of the Office of Emergency Management, Richmond Fire Department, Richmond Behavioral Health Authority, Department of Social Services and other community-based service providers.
