With support from the Mellon Foundation’s Monuments Project, the City of Columbus has committed to create new public art andcommemorative spaces that reflect the city’s collective history, values, aspirations, and to reckon with our city’s namesake, ChristopherColumbus. This project will include creating new public art for the City Hall Campus along with a new geographic and contextualsetting for the Christopher Columbus statue which will not return to City Hall.
