Providence Pottery and Arts Studio is part of Providence of Maryland. We are a community pottery and arts studio offering classes, studio memberships, Paint Your Own Pottery, and retail pottery from our studio location at 40 Church Road, Arnold, MD 21012.Providence is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1961 that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to discover and live their best lives in their communities throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland.We believe that community is meant for all of us, and we work alongside over 300 men and women to support them to create equitable opportunities for themselves in competitive jobs, develop skills, and engage in activities to be contributing members of their community in whatever ways are important to them.We meet people where they are, and build supports based on each person’s needs and goals for their life. Services and supports are delivered within the community as much as possible and include self-advocacy, career exploration, job development and supported employment with area employers, skill building, and community discovery and engagement.Your purchase of classes and pottery supports our ongoing efforts to make a difference in our community, one person at a atime.
