Suzi Stern (jazz vocalist extraordinaire, songwriter, poet and vocal coach)and George Oldziey (composer/arranger, educator and jazz pianist) are lifelong professional musicians who have devoted their lives to the craft and performance of music of many genres. Since 2009 Suzi and George have been producing house concert series, both in Austin, TX (dubbed "Casa Karen"), and currently in Lenox, MA, just a mile from Tanglewood. The Lenox features a stunning 9 foot concert grand piano.The Austin series, Casa Karen hosted both nationally and internationally renowned musicians such as bassist Eddie Gomez and his trio, composer David Amram, singer Jay Clayton, pianist Peter Stoltzman, trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, Brazilian popstar Rogé , Count Basie vocalist Carmen Bradford as local Austin jazz luminaries.
