About UsPraising Through Recovery (PTR) was incorporated and established as a non-profit 501(c) 3 in March 2009. As a result of this journey the Trinity Recovery House for Men, (6-man capacity) opened its doors in May 2012 and the Covered Bridge Recovery House for Women (5-woman capacity) opened in March 2014. With very humble beginnings PTR served in very challenging communities in Baltimore City. In November 2017 doors swung opened and Covered Bridge relocated to Edgewood, Maryland (Harford County) and in February 2019 the Trinity Recovery House also relocated to Edgewood. Through this process PTR is able to serve more clients in a much safer environment, backed by supportive community, staff, volunteers, and executive board.PTR has served and helped over 300 clients find a new way of living after drug and alcohol addictions. With a 75% success rate with the in-house facilities and a 50% success rate with the out-patient services it is our hope to offer structure, love, education, and life skills to all we assist. Success is based on the clients remaining clean and sober through their entire process, working part-time/full-time, attending meetings, obtaining a sponsor, reconnecting with family, and becoming active and productive members of society.VISION STATEMENTIt is the vision of Praising Through Recovery to continue to assist those caught in the grips of addiction. We believe that by continuing to offer structured recovery living to all who seek freedom from drug and alcohol we can grow a successful community of men and women who will pave the path for future generations to come who may also struggle with the disease of addiction.
