Nearly 500 animals call Potter Park Zoo home, including critically endangered black rhinos, Amur tigers, and endangered red pandas, Massasauga rattlesnake and snow leopard. The zoo is located in Lansing, Michigan and is open 364 days a year.As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and participant in its Species Survival Plan (SSP) programs, we are committed to the preservation of endangered animals and are actively developing strategies that will help protect species and preserve their wild habitats.
