Follow Pennsylvania Assistive Technology FoundationPennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation is a statewide nonprofit that helps people with disabilities and older Pennsylvanians get assistive technology. This includes everything from a wheelchair to a hearing aid to something more unusual like a fence so a child with autism can safely play in their backyard. Assistive technology makes it possible for people to live independently, go to work and school, communicate, play, and be active in their communities. We know this technology can be life-changing; our goal is to help people get it, and we know funding can be tricky. We help people find grants and also offer low-interest and zero-interest loans, so people have the option to purchase the technology that will make a difference in their lives. We believe financial education is crucial for independence. Our goal is to provide you with the tools needed to make informed decisions about your financial future, so PATF developed financial education which includes information that is critically important for the disability community.PATF does not charge fees for any of its services and serves Pennsylvanians of all ages, all income levels, all disabilities, all health conditions, all communities, and all cultural backgrounds.
