The Pearls of Distinction Foundation, Inc.(PODF), is the charitable arm of the Iota Tau Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. which has served the greater Chester County community for more than 40 years. The foundation began operating in January of 2016.The basis of the Foundation’s service offerings to the community lies in established, successful chapter programs including education, health, family strengthening, economics, and leadership development.The Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization.
