Got to the event about 9:10 am. Line was noticeable long and we proceeded to the back of the line. We heard an event staff member walking down the line communicating if you have an appointment (which we did, once I registered for backpack event, I received an email that stated "appointment confirmation ") to move to the front of the school to that line. Was super excited, line was considerably shorter and stood there about 15-20 minutes to then be told this was the wrong line and proceed to the first line I was in, which has not even gotten longer. Very disappointing of the lack of communication. Felt confident with my confirmed appointment that meant something and obviously not. My 9 year old son would of greatly benefited from the event and was so excited. At 10:10am (hour later) line barely moved. He unfortunately didn't receive any of the confirmed giveaways since we had to exit to attend an eye appointment. Event was much more organized last year. Leaving emptied handed and let down.
