The Jersey City Department of Health and Human Services is a multi-purpose public health agency designed to protect and promote the health of Jersey City residents. Through its divisions, the Department of Health and Human Services provides health education, disease prevention, child health clinic, consumer safety, environmental health, senior affairs and nutrition services. Our staff undergoes continuous training to deliver highly effective and culturally competent services to address the public health needs of Jersey City’s diverse population.
