We host Free Ski Day at the beginning of the season, which is an event tailored to beginner or first time skiers interested in trying out cross-country skiing. This event is completely free and includes free parking at the ski area, free rentals gear (pre-registration required), and free 1 hour lessons. Gear can only be borrowed during the lesson time as we have multiple lesson groups throughout the event.We also host Free Ski Lessons throughout the rest of the season but do not provide gear. You can rent gear locally at Hyperspud Sports in Moscow, Idaho or through the University of Idaho outdoors program and Washington State University outdoors program.
