The Outfitters Legacy Project exists to preserve the rich traditions of wilderness outfitting while cultivating the next generation of stewards, leaders, and public land advocates. Through focused programs for youth, military veterans, and trail-based recreationists, we provide hands-on education in backcountry skills, land stewardship, wilderness restoration including forestry, native fish, and trail maintenance with the method of animal packing. By honoring the legacy of working landscapes and fostering community connection to public lands, we empower individuals to lead with purpose, resilience, and respect for wild places.
