Follow Outdoor AngventuresI am a wellness coach who specializes in resilience education. In what started as a temporary job while awaiting med school, my love for wellness and educating others in preventative health practices created an unexpected passion and career. In 2014, I began practicing yoga to complement my cardio goals. As life evolved and unexpected difficulties arose, my mat and aerial practice became primary tools in managing my mental health. At the same time, I developed a deeper love for time spent in nature and I began to recognize both practices as keys to stress management. Knowledge I now get to share with my students.With my 200-hour Yoga alliance certification, I enjoy teaching a wide variety of classes - energy flow, SUP, aqua yoga, yoga walk and aerial. My favorite classes to offer are out in the desert, pairing hiking with yoga.Away from the mat, my true essence lies in adventure. Whether hiking at sunset, paddling rivers, backpacking remote trails or summitting another mountain, those passions lead to lots of fun activities during the retreats I host.
