Outdoor Academy

We aim to enhance your outdoor experience through local knowledge, experience and training to make your adventure a safer, more enjoyable and fulfilling experience.From a very young age, living in the Pilbara region of northern Western Australia, I would play with the children in the Aboriginal community out in the bush. I developed a passion for bushcraft skills and self reliance. This carried through to my 20s while serving in the Australian Defence Force as an Infantry Soldier, I further developed my skillset to include navigation, first aid and emergency management.I am driven to pass on my passion for the Australian wilderness and the skills I have acquired over decades of hiking, camping, four wheel driving and exploring this expansive country. I want to provide an environment where others can learn to safely and respectfully explore paths less travelled and build their passion for our great outdoors.
